RENFREWSHIRE PLAYERS DO WELL AT THE SCOTTISH MIXED FOURSOMES AT HAGGS CASTLE

The Scottish Mixed Foursomes was held at Haggs Castle Golf Club today. Just back from the Home Internationals in Cardiff after the fantastic win by the Scots, Internationalist Louise Kenney was able to maintain form and with partner Paul Shields won the Championship with a Gross 71.

Past Renfrewshire County Captain and this years Centenary Haggs Castle Lady Captain, Jennifer Mack and son Gavin playing off a combined handicap of 4.5 won the 2nd Scratch Award by virtue of the better inward half from past Scottish Mixed Champions Karen and Stephen Marshall of Baberton with a Gross 73.

Jennifer and Gavin's net score of 68.5 was the best of the day.

Renfrewshire's Eva Carmichael and David Boyd from East Renfrewshire won 1st Handicap Prize with a net 70.5 followed by Renfrewshire Team member Gillian Kyle and Clare-Marie Carlton with their partners being awarded 2nd and 4th Net prizes respectively.
