JUNIOR GIRLS COACHING AT MEARNS CASTLE GOLF ACADEMY

Junior Girls at MCGA

Some more Junior Girls
The junior girls thoroughly enjoyed the winter coaching sessions. The sessions were very successful with the girls picking up some great tips, hitting some great shots and all getting along together very well.
Both Karyn Burns and Mark Loftus commented how good it was to work with such an enthusiastic group of girls. The final one took place on Sunday 15th March at MCGA and after an indoor session with Mark Loftus the girls enjoyed playing a few holes.

Carol Smith and Jennifer Graham
Carol Smith and Jennifer Graham (Haggs Castle) reached the County Winter Foursomes Final for the second year in a row by beating Julie Will (Troon) and Angela Ferguson  (Eastwood) in the second semi-final.

Carol and Jennifer's win was assisted by Julie still recovering from the hassles in her recent house move and Angela turning up on the day without her golf shoes and having to play in her expensive suede wedges !!!!

They now meet Liz Crichton and Sara Bishop (Kilmacolm)  in the final.
