The home pair won the 1st hole but promptly lost the 2nd and found themselves 2 down at the turn as Muriel and Fay played some steady golf scoring several net pars.They managed to square the match at the 13th after pars at 12 and 13 but a visit to the burn at 14 let the Old Ranfurly pair take the lead again. Bunker trouble at 15 saw the match squared again.
The last 3 holes were halved so a trip up the 19th was required. A 4 was good enough for Gillian and Carole to win the match.
