The Death of Past RLCGA Member Liz Williamson

Liz Williamson - Click to enlarge It is with great sadness that we have heard that Past RLCGA Member Liz Williamson died on Wednesday 19th November.
Liz was diagnosed with cancer just over a year ago and has fought positively and bravely. She died peacefully in the St Vincent's Hospice after as active and sociable summer as her illness would permit.
Liz joined Renfrewshire County in 2004 and although was unable to play in many County Medals due to her teaching commitments she still managed to win the Gourock Medal in 2007 . Due to failing health she then resigned at the end of 2007.

Her Funeral took place on Wednesday 26th November at Daldowie Crematorium, Broomhouse
A special thanks was given to the staff of St Vincent's Hospice, Howwood for the care and attention shown to Liz during her illness.The collection in favour of the hospice raised a total of £1076.85
