Renfrewshire Ladies County Junior Girls’ Stableford Competition for the Campbell Clock, was held today at Whitecraigs G.C. Forty girls braved the elements and all completed their games despite some heavy rain. Their behaviour and attitude both on the course and in the Clubhouse were excellent and a credit to their parents, many of whom volunteered to act as helpers on the course. The County Committee was most impressed and encouraged to see so many lovely swings and young promising players. Hopefully, a good sign for future County golf.
Congratulations go to Mairi Gray (pictured above) from Williamwood Golf Club who won the main trophy of the day namely the Campbell Clock.
