What a lot of drama yesterday at Whistling Straits!
Poor Dustin making that mistake in the bunker at 18 then the excitement of the play off. But well done Martin Kaymer! It is good to see the Europeans doing well in the USA! It looks good for the Ryder Cup!
Colin and I have had a great week.
I still can't believe that Whistling Straits was only constructed in 1998. It looked as though it had been there forever. All that land used to be flat green farmland so tons of soil was brought in along with sand to make it look like a genuine links course and I must say it is lovely. We have watched a lot but yesterday we were invited into the CBS Studio to watch right behind the 18th green and listen to Jim Nantz and Nick Faldo doing their commentary! That was fascinating. All the time they are talking the producer is speaking instructions into their ear!

We have been entertained and looked after so well and are now waiting to board a flight to Newark then a connection to Glasgow. We will be back to reality tomorrow.
Hope everyone is well. Trish
