RENFREWSHIRE JUNIOR GIRLS WIN LOTS OF PRIZES

Three girls from the County ‘A’ Squad featured in the Prizelist on Sunday at Cochrane Castle’s Open Mixed Foursomes.
Samantha Cowan (Cochrane Castle) and her partner won the top prize in the 1st Class section and narrowly missed winning the coveted Cuninghame Trophy by 1 stroke. Emma Kennedy (Paisley) and her dad also won prizes in their category and Laura Craig (Cochrane Castle) hit a tremendous drive down the 16th hole to win the 2nd Class longest drive prize.
Not to be outdone by the Juniors Maureen Mitchell (Old Ranfurly), Junior Convenor, managed to hit her tee shot at the short 6th hole inside the mark of Megan Briggs to win a prize for nearest the hole.
