ALYSON MCKECHIN DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR THE LAST ROUND IN PORTUGAL

Ireland's twin top golfers 17-year-old Leona and Lisa Maguire (Slieve Russell) are joint second and fourth going into Sunday's fourth and final round of the Portuguese women's amateur international stroke-play championship at Montado Golf Club, Lisbon.
There was a cut after the third round to the leading 40 which means that all those with tallies of 232 and over will not play Sunday's final round.
All three Scots missed the cut by a big margin
Alyson McKechin (Elderslie) finished T66 with scores of 79, 81 and 82 for 26-over-par 242, the same score as Germany-based Rachel Taylor whose last round of par 72 was in contrast to her earlier high scores of 81 and 89.
Carnoustie Ladies' Ailsa Summers also played well below her potential to finish T86 on 244 with scores of 82, 85 and 77.
