The 2012 Scottish Golf Awards takes place on Friday 23 March at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow, celebrating the achievements of Scotland’s golfers and golf clubs from the past 12 months, from the grass roots of the game through to our leading amateur golfers and Tour professional stars.

There have been some fantastic performances from Scotland’s golfers in 2011 and the SGU want golf fans across Scotland to vote for their Player of the Year. From Catriona Matthew’s double title success on both sides of the Atlantic, to David Law clinching his second Scottish Amateur Championship in the space of three years, the Scots have shone at all levels of the game over the past 12 months.

Renfrewshire's Eilidh Briggs has been included in the shortlist due to her remarkable achievements in 2011 , Runner up in the Scottish Ladies Championship, Girls Scottish Champion, Renfrewshire county Champion,West of Scotland Champion, and Champion of Champions to name but a few !!
