Congratulations to Renfrewshire - once again! Yes, our team (just) won the Senior Team Trophy after a 3-way countback and it being decided in our favour on the last 3 holes. Well done to Megan, Donna and Vice Captain Gillian.

Very well done to Megan Briggs who won the individual Championship with a CSS matching 75 over a blustery West Kilbride. It seems that joining the real world in full time gainful employment has not impacted too much on her fabulous golf.
Scores in the seventies were also recorded by Denise Cowan and Carol Whyte - apologies if I have missed anyone else. Modesty would normally prevent me from mentioning my own 80 (with an 8 at the par 5 third after venturing into the out of bounds with my second shot!!) but my golf has been so bad recently that I will rejoice in returning to something like what I should be scoring!! Indulge me if you will!!
I apologise for, once again, forgetting my camera but Jean McIntyre from Lanarkshire (who won the Junior Team Trophy) agreed to bail me out and I thank her for all the photographs.
Mention, finally, should be made of our own Alexandra Qayum who was our sole Junior representative. Well well done for flying our Junior Flag. Hopefully our juniors will make the effort to play next year.
